In collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), BREDO has been involved in various water tracking projects in Baidoa. These projects typically focus on improving water access and quality in response to the needs of communities affected by crises or displacement. Key achievements in these collaborations might include:
- Water Supply Infrastructure: -The construction or rehabilitation of wells, boreholes, and water pipelines to enhance the availability of clean water.
- Water Quality Monitoring: Establishing systems to regularly test and ensure the safety of water sources, including the installation of water treatment facilities where needed.
- Emergency Water Provision: Delivering water and setting up temporary water distribution points in response to urgent needs, such as during droughts or humanitarian crises.
- Community Engagement: Training local communities on water management, hygiene practices, and maintenance of water facilities to ensure sustainability and effective use of resources
